Rationale
- To enthuse youngsters about human anatomy.
- To encourage future generations of anatomists.
Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ is able to make awards of £50 available to those who wish to carry out public engagement events related to human anatomy. Events will primarily be aimed at members of the general public. Applicants should be Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ members, having membership of the society for at least a year and be in good standing with their membership fees. Applicants will be informed of the success of their application by the meetings secretary following receipt of the application and discussion by Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ council within 6 weeks.
Successful applicants will be provided with Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ promotional material and will be expected collect feedback on the engagement event. Applicants will also be expected to provide a short summary piece (250 words) of the event to go on the Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ website.
